WELCOME TO PolFIG
PolFIG
is the Police Forum for Income
Generation, a peer group of Income Generation Officers and
Business Development Managers within UK Police forces. The group's purpose is to
promote best practice, provide assistance to other peers in regard to income
generation and cost recovery and focus our efforts on outcomes that are aligned
with the Local, Regional and National police and community safety goals.
Many organisations, both public and private sector have realised the benefits of
working in partnership with police to help reduce crime and the fear of crime
and creating safer communities. Different partners can provide a fresh
perspective and new ideas, which can help projects to take a holistic approach
to solving problems or meeting the needs of the community.
PolFIG, brings together specialists who actively seek, encourage and develop
these partnerships, with a shared goal of creating reducing crime, reducing fear
of crime, increasing community confidence levels and thus developing safer
communities.
